"AGIA KYRANNA"
ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION
The Cultural Association of Ossa "Agia Kyranna" was founded in 1965 and it has been contributing to the social and cultural development of the village and its inhabitants, through social events, exhibitions, publications, historical studies, agrotourism, seminars, dance clubs, choir, theater group and libraries, collaborations with public and cultural institutions within and outside Greece, in order to promote local history, folklore, traditions, local products and the rich cultural heritage of the village. Some of the village's actions are the annual events of the "Flower Exhibition" and the "Cultural June - Ossa's Cherry Festival", which aim to highlight the customs, traditions and traditions of the region, with particular reference to the production of high quality cherries.
OPEN MUSEUM OF THE RURAL LIFE OF OSSA
After persistent, concrete and coordinated actions of the club, an action plan entitled "Open Museum of Rural Life of Ossa" was developed. In this context, the association has proceeded to create three visitable cultural sites in the traditional settlement of Ossa and specifically: a) Ossa 's Folk Collection (2016), b) The Old Grocery (2018) and c) The Old Tsagaradiko (2019).
The "Open Museum of Rural Life of Ossa" is a developing project. The Old Tsagkaradiko is the precursor "The Shomaker 's House", the first and only multimedia showroom for the systematic recording of the shoemaking history in Greece, with main reference to the settlement of Ossa!
